In meeting the goal to form an effective and diverse statewide political network for Michigan

Republican Women, the Michigan Excellence in Public Service Series graduated their six and

seventh classes in 2016.  Graduates of the series have gone on to be elected at the local and

state levels, are serving as legislative chief of staffs, been appointees to boards at the state

level, served as mayors, county commissioners, clerks, and township supervisors.

In 2016, we will have five of our graduates on the August ballot running to be state

representatives.  We also have graduates running at the local level this election cycle.

As we recruit for our 2016 & 2017 series, we invite you to take a serious look at the MEPSS

program.  It is the ONLY program in the state of Michigan training Republican women who have

an interest in public policy, leadership, and yes, running for public office.  We encourage you to

join us on our next journey where you will meet, and form relationships and a network of

Republican women from across the state that will last a lifetime.

In addition to meeting some amazing women, you will have the opportunity to meet highly

regarded individuals in their fields who volunteer their time to train and lead meaningful and

insightful discussions.

“The Michigan Excellence In Public Service Series is more than an educational curriculum, it is

an outstanding organization that provides a top notch program of learning, building

relationships, networking, and understanding an in depth process for becoming a public servant.

They truly care about the success of their graduates.  The relationships I have made with

mentors and fellow graduates are undeniably treasured, and will be for years to come.”
